The Gym saw its first light of the day at the roof top of my house at 699, Parmanand Colony, West Mukherji Nagar, Delhi-9, in the year 1983 when I teamed up with M/s Mahesh Khanna ‘Lovely’, Jugal Kishore Dhawan (my younger brother), Raju, Rajeev, Japani Ahuja, Sunny, Virender Dhawan ‘Bittoo’, Harish Dhawan and a little kid Honey Dhawan (also my younger brother). So far as the gym equipment were concerned one could have termed those as stone-age tools, i.e., the equipment were made out of wheel rims of Fiat car duly fitted with pipe to make Squat Stand, a wooden bench and some other rods and heavy substances.
